This <strong>co-ed Level 1<\/strong> class is part of our All-Around program, focusing on mastering the foundational skills that are essential for all gymnastics disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>In Mighty Mites, children will build strength, flexibility, and coordination while learning key floor and tumbling skills like <strong>forward and backward rolls<\/strong>, <strong>handstands<\/strong>, <strong>cartwheels<\/strong>, and <strong>back bridges<\/strong>. They will also get hands-on experience with <strong>bars<\/strong>, including skills like <strong>pullovers<\/strong>, <strong>casting<\/strong>, and strength-building exercises. Additionally, the class introduces basic <strong>vaulting<\/strong> and <strong>trampoline<\/strong> skills, helping kids develop balance and coordination across all apparatus.<\/p>\n<p>This 60-minute class offers a well-rounded introduction to gymnastics, providing a fun and structured environment where children can build confidence, learn new skills, and make friends!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Difference between Superfly &amp; Mighty Mites:<\/strong><br \/>Our Superfly and Mighty Mites gymnastics classes both last one hour and follow the same curriculum. Superfly is limited to 5 &amp; 6 and has a smaller student-to-coach ratio of 6:1, providing more individual attention. Mighty Mites is for children aged 6-12 and has a 8:1 ratio. If you're unsure whether to enroll your 6 year old in Superfly or Mighty Mites, we suggest considering the child&rsquo;s age and size. For younger or smaller 6-year-olds, Superfly may be a better fit. On the other hand, if your child is on the older side of 6 or prefers being with older or bigger kids, Mighty Mites might be the better choice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:<br \/><\/strong>Our Mighty Mites classes are held once a week with the option to add additional classes at a discounted rate. With classes running on a month-by-month commitment, families have the flexibility to join at any time, as long as there's space available.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Class registration is non-refundable<\/strong>. If you need to cancel your registration, we can credit your Roots account, provided we receive notification before the start of the session.
