AGA's recreational girl’s gymnastics program is an introductory, noncompetitive, achievement orientated gymnastics program consisting of 8 separate levels which increase in difficulty. Please note that the recreational program is a path of its own, and is not necessarily a developmental path towards Team level gymnastics.
AGA’s recreational program is geared towards the athlete who:
Our recreational program incorporates a fitness workout plus activities that will challenge your child both physically and mentally as they continue their gymnastics journey. Gymnasts will be progressively trained on the uneven bars, vault, balance beam, and floor exercise. In addition, strength, flexibility and coordination will also be significant areas of concentration as they are all necessary skills required to safely and effectively learn to perform on all gymnastics equipment.
Adrenaline teaches these classes under the philosophy that the program is developed and taught with the belief that all athletes must have a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely. Each level is built to be progressive in nature to the next, and the student must master the required skills and requirements at each level before being considered for move-up to the next level.
Our recreational gymnastics classes meet a minimum of once per week for 65-125 minutes depending on the child's class level. You are welcome to add more than one class per week if desired.
