Beginner level. Swimmers continue to learn basic mechanics of swimming with support. Safety rules and introductory techniques are reiterated at this level. New swimmers will focus on becoming more comfortable in the water. Water acclimation is paired with breath and stroke technique. Students at this level with no prior swim skills will develop the essentials needed to be in the water without hesitation. Students with prior swim experience will further develop their skills and focus on forward motion, floating and emersion with propulsion. In water support from instructors continued. 6-12 classes are recommended for advancement in level. Up to 4 students per class. This class is 30 minutes.
