School Age Rec Boys (1.15 Hours; 5-8years):
Mom, Dad, & Me
This semi-structured one hour program is designed to promote movement, gross motor skills, socialization and most of all FUN with a parent or caregiver.
This program is offered to children 3-5 years of age and is geared to channel your child’s energy in fun filled ways with an entertaining mix of basic gymnastics, body awareness and games in a safe, supervised, semi-structured environment to help development fundamental movement skills.
School Aged Rec Boys/Girls; Junior Rec Girls
These programs are designed for junior girls, focusing on a more structured approach to the FUN, FITNESS AND FUNDAMENTALS, of gymnastics. Classes run seventy-five minutes, which includes a ten minute warm-up, twenty minutes on three of the six rotation circuits (Vault, Uneven Bars, Floor, Tumbltrak, Beam, Parallel-Bars), and a five minute break.
Senior Rec Girls
This program is designed to focus on Strength, Flexibility and Conditioning for athletes interested in advancing their gymnastic skills. Class is one hour, with no break throughout. Each class will focus mainly on Floor skills along with one apparatus per week. (Beam/Vault/Bars)
The acro program is designed to focus on the basics of tumbling and acrobatic skills. It includes a conditioning component and focuses on handstands, cartwheels, bridges, walkovers, and handsprings, depending on skill level.
