Rec Youth

7:1 Ratio, 1 hour class, at this time Girls Only

Here we begin to teach children to “think” about movement. Encourage them to self-monitor during practice so they learn independence and awareness. We continue to provide numerous movement experiences. Utilizing progressions to teach skills in a step-by-step fashion that allows athletes to learn and master basic skills before moving to more advanced skills. In gymnastics the fundamental skills serve as a basis for the performance of more advanced skills.

First time gymnasts will begin in the Rec Youth class and work their way up through the Rec Program.
