Every Music Student's family has an annual registration fee of $25 and is required to re-sign up for music lessons in the fall annually. The music family is not selecting their day or time slot in this registration process but is rather registering as a music student of this instructor. Scheduling is done separately.
Ashley has recently made Kansas City her new home with director/actor husband, Marc Liby, for almost 5 years. Originally from Wisconsin, Ashley is a professional Equity singer/actress, having lived and worked in NYC and all over the country. In Kansas City, Ashley has been seen at the New Theatre Restaurant: MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, ADDAMS FAMILY: THE MUSICAL, BOEING BOEING (w/ Debra Jo Rupp), OVER THE MOON (w/ Hal Linden), and FOX ON THE FAIRWAY (w/ Dyan Cannon). Kansas City Actors Theatre: THE REALISTIC JONESES. Musical Theatre Heritage: NEXT TO NORMAL (Diane), SOUTH PACIFIC (Nellie). Starlight Theatre: FOOTLOOSE. Ashley holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. Ashley is an experienced accompanist, having played piano for over 27 years. She has been playing for church since she was ten, accompanying students, choirs, and productions since she was 14, and during her four years in NYC, she freelanced as a vocal coach/accompanist. She also plays numerous other instruments, including guitar, bass, ukulele, accordion as well as works as a musical director and choreographer. In 2013, Ashley started the voice program at Encore! at the Jewish Community Center.
Whether you are working on a solo for church, prepping for auditions or working on your character's material, Ashley will get you where you want to be. She teaches people of all ages, focusing on healthy technique, finding one's true voice and personality along with using acting fundamentals for any type of singing, and above all - having fun!
