Advanced 1: Refinement of back and front handsprings and connecting them in developmental series is the main focus of tumbling at this level. Front somersaults are introduced as well as aerial cartwheels. On trampoline, development of somersaults is most emphasized. On bars, students begin to learn kips, swing for advanced dismounts, and continue to build on the previously learned routines.
Advanced 2: Individualized instruction allows each person to reach their potential on all four Olympic events. With added trampoline training, somersaults in different positions and with twists are taught. Competitive routines and skill combinations are taught.
