COVID-19 UPDATE - MARCH 20TH

Hello all-

As efforts intensify to slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus it’s become clear to us that we may not be able to re-open at the end of the month as we had originally hoped. We want to make sure that everyone knows what things will look like as we move into the month of April and beyond.

 

Here are a few answers to the most important questions.

1) What about THIS session? – As previously stated we will be offering make up classes for all of our class participants for the time missed from this current session, which was scheduled 2/29-3/27. We are committed to making sure that everyone gets every hour of gymnastics that they have paid for. We will have many options available so that we can find something that will work for everyone.

We know that the kids will be ready to jump back to activity and we can’t wait to see them get back at it! We will work towards finding a solution for team athletes, as we get closer to a reopen. We are working through a variety of creative solutions there as well.

 

2) What about March 28th and beyond? – We will NOT be charging ANY further tuition or running ANY further auto pay payments until we can re-open for your child’s scheduled program. We don’t know when we will be able to welcome everyone back and we know that everyone is under stress of some kind at this time. So, you hold on to your tuition payment and we will hold your child’s spot in class. We can’t wait to see you all back in the gym when it’s safe!!

 

3) What can we do to help? -- We are so thankful for our amazing staff and our amazing athletes and families. We have had so many people reach out and ask what they can do to help Flex through this uncertain time. Most of you know this is a family-owned business, not a franchise or big corporation. We appreciate all of the thoughts as we navigate through a situation that I never could have imagined even just a week ago.

The best thing that you can do to help us out during this time is to return to class when it’s safe. We hope to see you all again before the end of the school year session and we hope to see you all during the summer months. Some families have asked if they can pay ahead for when we return to life as usual. If you would like to make a payment to be applied as a credit on your account, please send us an email at info@flexgymnastics.com.

 

Those of you have been with us over the past 12 years know that we have fought tooth and nail to get to where we are today. With your support, we were able to make things work when we found ourselves without an official home for 4 months in 2018 and, just like before, we will take this situation in stride.

 

As some of you may know summer tends to be a lower enrollment time for gymnastics schools throughout the country. Following up this (potentially) extended closure with a time of low enrollment is certainly a daunting thought. If we are closed for an extended time this spring we hope that you will consider using your “gymnastics budget” ear-marked for spring classes, to join us over the summer months. With the Olympics (hopefully) taking place this summer we know that the kids will be inspired and will be eager to start chasing their dreams right here at Flex.

 

We are very hopeful that life will return to normal quickly and completely. We want nothing more than to welcome all of our coaches and athletes back to the gym. After 12 years in this community we hope that we can continue to be a positive place for kids in our area to grow, learn and become the best they can be. We have loved being a part of this community and believe, as we always have, that the future is bright here in Osceola. We can’t wait to fill this empty gym back up with flips, friends and fun as soon as we can!!!!

Directions: We are located across the highway from Domino's Pizza. From Hwy 35, turn North on 240th St. near Dollar General. Turn left on 93rd Ave. Our driveway entrance is off of 93rd Ave.

 

 

POLICIES 

EACH CHILD WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY RE-ENROLLED:

Your child will be automatically re-enrolled into subsequent sessions until you choose a drop date through the parent portal or until you notify us through email. You must drop by the 15th of the month to avoid charges for the following session.

 

REGISTRATION FEE:

A $40 registration fee per family will be due on or before your child’s first class. 

 

TUITION DUE DATES - 20th of the month:

Tuition is due on the 20th of each month for the upcoming session. Each session is four weeks long and does not necessarily line up with each month. Your child will receive four weeks of classes for every tuition payment. 

If payment has not been made by the 25th of the month, a $10 late fee will be applied to your account. Consistent late payments may result in no longer being offered services at Flex.

 

DROP PROCEDURE - 15th of the month:

Enrollment is ongoing all year long. This means that you will enroll your child in a class and your child will continue to be enrolled in that class until a parent notifies the front desk to move the child to a different class or to drop the child from class. Tuition will continue to be charged until notice is given. PARENTS MUST NOTIFY THE FRONT DESK TO DROP A STUDENT FROM CLASS BY THE 15TH OF THE MONTH PRIOR TO THE SESSION YOU WISH TO DROP FROM. Failure to do so will result in tuition charges for the following session.

 

Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student's classes whether or not your student attends class until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student's account will be charged for the additional 30 days. This charge will be for holding the student's place in that class instead of offering that place to one of the many on a waiting list.

 

We do annual tuition increases and they will be reflected on your statements.
