Apologia Anatomy and Physiology

Join us as we explore the human body through discovery, exciting experiments, and hands-on activities.   Students will learn the 206 bones in the body, the muscles, the anatomical structures of the heart and lungs, digestion, the brain, and all the beautiful systems that make up our bodies. Genetics, nutrition, growth and development, different diseases, germs, and testing for bacteria will also be studied. 
 
Activities will include making an “edible cell,” a digestive roller coaster, making a large eye & ear model, creating a life-sized model of the organs and systems of the human body, and much more.  
 
Students will be doing many different experiments in this course.  They will also participate in the Homelink Science Fair at the end of the school year.
