Gymnastics training lessons focus on the fundamental skills of the sport for girls. Classes are divided into sections to include Floor Exercise, Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Trampoline. Skill training includes emphasis on handstands, rolling, shaping, back bends, splits and cartwheeling. A portion of the session is devoted to strength training and conditioning for aerobic and cardiovascular benefit. Athletic safety skills are taught weekly. Students are in skill level appropriate groups of 9 to 1 student/teacher ratio. Students achievement is recognized through or exclusive ”Ribbon Reward” system for advancement.
