More Information:

What is a combo class?:

Legacy Littles Parent Participation Combo Class focuses on training the brain and body development in athletes ages 5 and under. The curriculum is set up to prime and nurture each child's small and large motor skills. When young children can use their minds and bodies in combination with one another, they  increase their overall function of each component; health, endurance, flexibility, focus, strength and coordination. Our class specifically targets each component through an upbeat, enriching curriculum that will engage and entertain.

What is the parents role?:

Through the class, parents will be taught the importance of each skill, how to properly spot and supervise, and will be encouraged to participate and learn alongside their child. The trust and connection between parent and child will flourish as the curriculum becomes challenging. The parents will be crucial in guiding the child through each class. We ask that you come to each class with an understanding that what is being asked of each child is new and challenging and that it takes time to learn and execute the skills and routine of the program. The parent is the most vital piece to the child's success and each class require enthusiasm and patience. With participation growth will be achieved each week.

What will we learn?:

A curriculum has been created with a focus on specific components of a child's development while using all areas within the gym. With emphasis on upper body & grip strength, core strength, plyometrics and climbing & agility each student will be motivated to complete an array of enriching activities each class. Through the course of each class, teamwork, group participation, cooperation and effort will be highlighted and molded. Our program is designed as three tiered; tier 1-body function, tier 2-brain function, tier 3-athlete, parent instructor relationship. New focus skills will be introduced each week and then built upon in the following weeks after in order to develop growth within each tier.

What we promise:

Our Legacy staff understands the importance of the health and wellbeing of young children. We are committed to being patient, understanding, and motivating through the entire process of developing the child's physical and mental skills. We promise that with commitment and participation within each class your athlete will grow in all the 3 tiers of the program. The success of this program has been proven and we are excited to share it!
