Beginner Tumble – Advanced: This class is for the beginner athlete who has a firm foundation in the building blocks of tumbling, and is comfortable with their body being upside down. Athletes can demonstrate the hollow body position while performing handstands and candlesticks. They can also execute forward rolls, back rolls, and a cartwheel with strong technique. Finally, they can execute a standing bridge without a spot. Athletes in this level will learn round-offs, back extension rolls, back walkovers, and front walkovers. Athletes will learn and perform connected running tumbling combinations with these skills. Finally, athletes will learn the technique of a standing back handspring.
