Level: Beginner 1 - Water Exploration

Students are beginning to get comfortable in the water and ready to learn how to submerge and to exhale in the water. Float prone and supine without floats. Push and glide from the wall. Kicking front crawl and back crawl and holding a float.

How to Enter:  Enter through the main entrance at 333 E 66th St and  please sign in with the security attendant. The pool is located one level below the lobby and is accessible through the elevator. The pool will be on the right as you exit the elevator. Seating for families and caretakers is located on the pool deck.

Facility Rules:

  1. Children over the age of 6 must use same sex locker rooms.

  2. All families must enter and exit through their respective locker rooms.

  3. Strollers and street shoes are prohibited on the pool deck.

  4. No food or drink is permitted in the pool area.

  5. Swimmers who are not fully toilet trained are required to wear a swim diaper in addition to a bathing suit.

  6. Swimming caps must be worn by all swimmers.
