PARKMW - Parkour 12 up 2x a week (Inactive)


Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Parkour is a training discipline that developed from the French military obstacle course training.  
It involves running, jumping, climbing, swinging, rolling, vaulting and quadrupedal movement. 
Parkour involves seeing ones environment in a new way and imagining the potential for navigating
through it by movement around, across, through, over and under it's obstacles. Another style of 
training is called Freerunning, which is similar to Parkour but instead of trying to get from point A to
point B fast and efficiently, you flip, trick and flash more  exhibition style movements, whereas 
Freerunning is a freestyle type of movement. Our Parkour classes include instruction on BOTH styles
of movement. 

This Parkour class meets two times a week for one hour each time.
