This is a beginner to intermediate aerials class for students 8 and older. Students will learn multiple skills appropriate for the aerial silks and aerial hoop or lyra. The class will include instruction for proper warm-up and flexibility for aerial training as well as strength training to build muscle and endurance applicable for the aerial arts. Students must complete the Aerial Prerequisite class in order to participate. Consideration may be made for comparable silks and hoop training at another location. To ensure safety we need to make sure every student is aware, knowledgeable, and proficient in basic skills like foot knots, climbing, and of common nomenclature before starting the session of classes.
